Imperial's RoHS policy (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
2002/95/EC Directive
Imperial Connector Systems Ltd is committed to minimizing the impact on the environment throughout the entire lifecycle of products that we supply and complying with applicable customer and regulatory requirements.
With the annulment of the Deca-BDE exemption by the European Court of Justice effective as of July 1 st 2008 and given the complexity of the task over a large product range Imperial Connector Systems is taking the following actions:
1) Parts
that are known to be fully compliant inclusive of the Deca-BDE annulment and do not require part number change or datasheet revision will be identified with RoHS symbol
2) Parts
that were fully compliant prior to the Deca-BDE annulment but require ECN regarding material and subsequent part number or datasheet revision will continue to be identified on a short term basis with RoHS symbol:
All parts will be correctly classified by 1st September 2008.
3) Parts that cannot be produced with Deca-BDE compliant materials will have their status changed to non-RoHS (no symbol). All customers for these parts will be notified (please note that no parts have so far been identified as likely to meet these circumstances).
